Oh No!

I have been neglecting this blog. I promise to pay more attention ot it, and should have a few things coming up in the very near future to post.

In the meantime I’ll post a lot of music and movie-related things. :)

I have to see this…!

Writing A Book Is Easy? No, It’s Not.

I never announced that I was writing a book.  I am, and it’s called ‘The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Twitter Marketing’.  Now, let’s move on.

The entire process for writing the book, which includes creating outlines, compiling information and notes, and abiding by the publisher’s guidelines, has been quite overwhelming.  I am not complaining about the workload and mandatory deadlines, but rather about the approach I’m taking.

Twitter is evolving every day, and I cannot remember how many times I have updated my notes so that I can remove content that has just become outdated (they’ll get a mention, not full coverage).  Our table of contents (TOC) have changed numerous times, and Esther (co-author) and I have found ourselves scrambling to ensure that it’s final before we move forth with the writing process.  Of course, we have been writing as well as finding ourselves trashing content that we have spent a substantial amount of time working on.

I ensure you that both the amount of time and work that we have put into the book, as well as the final product (when it’s published), will prove to be worth it.

Stay tuned for more information…

Today, I’m Donating My 32nd Birthday to…

Alex’s Lemonade Stand!

Last year, Drew Olanoff influenced me to donate my birthday to a charity. I didn’t know of any charities (by name), and then had a hard time choosing when I was presented with a large selection to choose from. Drew suggested I donate my birthday to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and then sent me a link to their website so that I can learn more about them. After I began to read the story behind ALS, I immediately decided that I want to donate my birthday to their cause as well as on behalf (and in honor of) Drew!

This year, I have once again decided to donate my birthday to Alex’s Lemonade Stand (and, once again, in honor of Drew!). I have created a page on their website where you may donate any amount of money. My goal this year is to raise at least $1,000, and you can help me by visiting my page here!
